Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you!
Today she is celebrating her silver anniversary and has already accomplished more than most in a lifetime. As a strong, independent association, we have been committed to a more sustainable and responsible capital market for a quarter of a century, with the aim of a healthier and fairer world.
Although the real, big party will take a while, our team had a wonderful day in the enchanting Efteling – where we have been inspired for at least another 25 years.
Thank you to all our members for their support and to our directors Jaap van Dam, Karin Maas, Leon Wijnand, Arnaud Jansen, Gerard Roest and Henri van Eeghen for offering knowledge and direction. Also thank you to all our employees and volunteers from now and then, just like Guiseppe van der Helm, who sailed in the years before my voyage.
Of course, our special thanks go to Piet Sprengers for his wisdom and perseverance in founding the VBDO.
Plus, an extra thank you to Eddo van der Breggen and all Zwitserleven employees for the delicious cake!
