Winners of the Responsible Investment by Pension Funds Benchmark 2024
Congratulations to the leaders in responsible investment among Dutch pension funds:
🏅 Large pension funds (>30 billion AuM): PME pension fund
🏅 Medium-large pension funds (10–30 billion AuM): Pension fund Detailhandel (Retail)
🏅 Medium-sized pension funds (5–10 billion AuM): Ahold Delhaize Pension
🏅 Small pension funds (<5 billion AuM): Pension fund TNO

Results not comparable with previous years
The methodology has changed significantly this year, as stated in the report. We would therefore like to emphasise that no conclusions can be drawn from a fund that has dropped down the list, despite the fact that its performance may have improved considerably.
Benchmark now published every two years
The benchmark Responsible investment by pension funds will no longer be published annually, but every two years. This gives the smaller funds in particular a bit more room, which sometimes struggle with a lack of capacity. They can then use that extra room for what VBDO is ultimately all about: making an impact with the sustainability of their portfolio.
