The sustainable viability of the nickel industry and its products is critical if we want to ensure that nickel continues to be a key component for future low-carbon technologies.
There are, however, some ESG concerns around nickel production, yet experience shows that nickel can be produced sustainably. How does the nickel sector collectively ensure that it is seen to be addressing these concerns effectively? What do customers, investors, and communities require of nickel producers so that this most versatile material can contribute its full potential to benefit people, the planet, and prosperity?
During this seminar, followed by a cocktail reception, the Nickel Institute will present its vision for a sustainable nickel sector and garner a range of opinions and expertise to contribute to mapping out a way forward to a ‘win-win’ sustainable nickel industry.
