In the run up to COP26 in November this year, many climate related initiatives are aiming to go the extra mile on the race to zero. The most ambitious standard is set by the Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance.
The NZAOA aims for a 1.5 degrees portfolio alignment based on short- and long-term Science Based Targets.
The NZAOA has two important features. First is its key role in bringing together elements of other climate related initiatives (e.g. IIGCC; Climate 100+; PCAF and SBT). Instead of being one more initiative on mitigation of CO2 emissions, the NZAOA collaborates with these different initiatives to commonly work on a standard. Second, their ambition has a real-world impact focus and an approach that is in line with realizing real world CO2 reduction.
With 2 expert speakers this webinar focuses on these two aspects of the race to zero.
