Charlotte will share BlackRock’s view on the growing importance of natural capital and biodiversity for companies and investors. She will discuss how BlackRock integrates nature into investment portfolios across asset classes as well as its stewardship activities. - 3.40 pm: Biodiversity Benchmark introduction (VBDO & PwC) | Manon Koelewijn, Project Manager Responsible Investment & Sustainability
Manon will present the methods and findings of the biodiversity and business benchmark pilot. The presentation will highlight some of the key initial outcomes, which introduce the foundation for future benchmarking and engagement on this topic. - 4 pm: Closure

- Thijs IJsbrandij (Nature strategy at PwC) leads the nature team of PwC Netherlands and supports clients in developing strategies, action plans and reporting in the field of nature in line with legislation and frameworks such as TNFD, SBTn & CSRD.
- Charlotte Mansson (Head of Sustainable & Transition Solutions, Nordics & Netherlands at BlackRock) has extensive experience in sustainable investments and advises investors worldwide on sustainability and transition issues and trends. This includes the development of a low-carbon transition strategy and responsible investment policy, natural capital and biodiversity, ESG data and analytics across asset classes, management practices and leading dialogues with key stakeholders.
- Maxime Eiselin (Senior Expert Nature-based Solutions bij IUCN NL) leads the business & biodiversity engagement at IUCN NL and has 10 years of experience in biodiversity management, specializing in nature-based solutions, climate & biodiversity policy, and corporate strategies. He identifies biodiversity risks, impacts and dependencies, advises on policy, and uses innovative approaches for biodiversity monitoring.
